ABOUT

The Community Events Program partners with cultural organizations throughout the Southeast to provide free admissions to arts and cultural venues, museums, visual and performing arts events, sporting events, and more. Free admissions and tickets are donated to human service agencies serving individuals with disabilities, at-risk youth, low-income communities, veterans, and mental health programs.

ARTS InCommunity (AIC) facilitates the distribution and donation of tickets while helping human service agencies and cultural organizations navigate barriers to access.

What does it mean to be a partner?

ARTS InCommunity and cultural partners work together to create inclusive communities where arts and culture is accessible for all individuals in the Southeast.

AIC helps cultural organizations expand their reach and connect with communities and individuals challenged by barriers to access.

We collectively work alongside our partners to remove financial, environmental, and participation barriers, while fostering engagement from human service agencies serving individuals with diverse abilities.

Efficient Communications

Custom-built ticket request portal to make ticket requests, donations, and box office

logistics simple.

Annual Due Diligence

Our program requires annual applications for all new and returning human service agencies with 501(c)(3) letters, current Form 990, and impact details.

Arts and Cultural Spotlight

Bimonthly newsletters highlighting current exhibits, events, classes and workshops, and other opportunities available for human service agencies.

Annual Reports

Annual reports provided for partners including number of tickets donated, value, breakdown of demographics served, and agencies served.

Service Support

Partners can receive annual site surveys, subsidized audio description services, training and consultation, and the ability to redirect human service agencies to our program.
