ACCESSIBILITY SUPPORT

Arts InCommunity offers support to arts & cultural organizations, venues, and businesses in accessibility compliance and guidance. Our goal is to work alongside partners to create inclusive communities where arts and culture is accessible for all individuals in the Southeast.

Site Evaluations

A site evaluation of a facility to meet ADA requirements for museums, theaters, performing arts facilities, sports arenas, gardens, local businesses, and more. Our team uses Universal/Inclusive Design and ADA Law requirements as a guide for our site evaluations with the goal to make your facility accessible for all. Includes assessment, survey, report with findings and suggestions, and a seal of greater access rating.

Website Assessment

A website evaluation for arts and cultural organizations, local businesses, and other organizations for WCAG and ADA Compliance. Our assessments help guide organizations on best practices for what accessibility resources and information to include for website visitors, as well as prospective venue guests. Includes assessment, survey, report with findings and suggestions, and a seal of greater access rating. Virtual only.

Inclusive Exhibit Design

Inclusive exhibit design supports museums during the initial design for new exhibits or updating of preexisting exhibits to be inclusive for diverse audiences of people with a broad range of abilities and ages, from all societal groups. Consultation can be ongoing throughout the year as new exhibitions are designed or on a need basis for museums.

Fees are determined on an individual project basis. We will develop a plan that fits your budget and needs. Submit the form below for a quote or contact us at info@artsincommunity.org.
