Donated Tickets

Donated tickets are made available to organizations throughout Georgia. These tickets can be for special, limited engagement, events such as plays, musicals, movies or sporting events or they can be ongoing opportunities such as admissions to the zoo, botanical gardens or area museums. We maintain calendars with this information.

Eligibility

Non-profit organizations may apply for services; ONCE APPROVED and accepted into the program, agencies may then request tickets on behalf of their consumers or clients. Due to the restrictions placed on us by our donors, we cannot serve schools or churches, but occasionally can serve programs of schools or churches if the programs have their own 501(c)(3) status separate from the church or school they support. Applications may be submitted throughout the year from organizations that:

  • Hold current and in good standing, documentation of 501(c)(3) designation with the Federal government

  • OR are government agencies; this includes being current in filing IRS form 990. We do check directly with the IRS.

  • OR a for-profit organization where the majority of individuals served fit one of the constituent populations we work with.

  • Have been providing direct services for at least 18 months; and

  • Serve primarily individuals who have disabilities or who live with low income, and do not discriminate based on race, religion, sexual orientation or any other factor.

Fees and Special Requirements

Each agency pays a yearly administrative fee, based on the total budget of the agency applying.  The fee is based solely on the budget and not on the number of tickets you use.

All new contacts are REQUIRED to attend a two hour orientation held at our office before they can begin to request tickets.  These are usually held on the 3rd Thursday of the month and start promptly at 9:00 a.m.
